Shilpa Shirdokar Opens Up About Her Bigg Boss 18 Journey Ahead of Grand Finale

Shilpa Shirdokar

Shilpa Shirdokar, a strong contender for the Bigg Boss 18 grand finale, was evicted just four days before the show’s conclusion. Despite making it to the top 6, Shilpa’s journey ended when she received the least number of votes. Art director Omung Kumar took the decision to eliminate her from the show. With her eviction, finalists Vivian Dsena, Karanveer Mehra, Eisha Singh, Rajat Dalal, Chum Darang, and Avinash Mishra are now battling for the trophy.

Though disappointed by her eviction, Shilpa called her experience on the show the best of her life. In an exclusive interview with SCREEN, she reflected on her journey and the relationships formed during the show.

Regarding her unexpected eviction, Shilpa shared, “We knew there would be a mid-week eviction, but I didn’t expect it to be me. As the show progresses, anything can happen. Despite that, I had the best journey of my life and was unique in my approach.”

Shilpa also opened up about her changing dynamics with fellow contestant Vivian Dsena. “I don’t know what went wrong between Vivian and me. He got carried away with Avinash. However, with Karanveer, our bond remained strong despite people suggesting otherwise. If one person doesn’t want to understand the other side, it’s better to walk away.”

She also shared her thoughts on the controversial moments involving other contestants. “We found out through the media about Nouran’s conversation. Afterward, everyone was questioning why he threw me and Karan under the bus, but he had no answers when confronted.”

When asked about being labeled manipulative and hypocritical, Shilpa responded, “I’ve learned that people will judge you, and their opinions are often driven by insecurity. What happens on the weekend episodes becomes exaggerated. We never sought attention; it just happened naturally.”

As for the winner of Bigg Boss 18, Shilpa expressed her support for Karan. “My personal favorite is Karan. I’ve seen him grow through ups and downs, and he truly wants this. After him, Chum has shown remarkable growth. Vivian follows closely, but Rajat, I haven’t fully understood as a person. I’m not in a position to judge whether he deserves the trophy.”

The Bigg Boss 18 grand finale will air on January 19 at 9:30 PM on Colors TV.
