A brutal attack on Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra home left his family and fans in shock. New details have emerged from the police investigation, revealing that the intruder was first spotted by Eliyamma Philip, the nanny to Saif’s youngest son, Jeh. Eliyamma, 56, was in the house when the incident occurred at around 2 am.
According to Eliyamma’s account in the FIR, the family was fast asleep in their duplex on the 11th and 12th floors. The attacker broke into the home and moved towards Jeh’s room. Eliyamma noticed him entering the room and rushing towards the child’s bed. As she tried to stop him, the intruder threatened her and demanded Rs 1 crore. Armed with a weapon, the man engaged in a scuffle with Eliyamma.
When Saif heard the commotion and entered the room, the intruder attacked him with a hexa blade. The situation escalated when Taimur’s nanny, Geeta, also attempted to intervene and was attacked. Saif was stabbed six times in the assault. Following the incident, Saif’s eldest son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, was called to the scene and rushed his father to Lilavati Hospital, where Saif is currently recovering.
Later that evening, Kareena Kapoor issued a statement on social media, requesting privacy for her family during this difficult time. She shared, “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events. As we navigate this difficult time, I request the media and paparazzi to refrain from speculation and coverage. The constant scrutiny and attention are overwhelming and pose a risk to our safety. I kindly ask for space and privacy as we heal.”
Kareena’s message received support from numerous celebrities, including Priyanka Chopra, Malaika Arora, Zoya Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, who expressed their concern on social media.
