Actress Nyrraa Banerji, recently evicted from Bigg Boss 18, shared her experiences and struggles in the house, including conflicts with co-contestants Karanveer Mehra and Shilpa Shirodkar. In an exclusive interview with SCREEN, the Pishachini actress expressed shock over her limited screen time and reflected on how Salman Khan’s initial feedback shaped others’ opinions of her.
Speaking about her early days on the show, Nyrraa said, “I’m deeply shocked; I didn’t realize my screen time was so low. It was strange.” During the first Weekend Ka Vaar, host Salman Khan’s comments turned other contestants against her. “Based on his feedback, they formed assumptions about me. They were biased,” she explained.
Nyrraa’s close friendship with Shehzada Dhami, which some misconstrued as an affair, was simply a strategic partnership, she clarified. “Shehzada and I are best friends, along with Shrutika. We spent a lot of time together, discussing game strategies. It wasn’t about creating a love angle.”
Addressing her friction with Karanveer Mehra, she alleged that he intentionally triggered conflicts for attention. “He made strange comments in the gym, but I didn’t want that association. Karanveer started strong but was triggering. He’s also insecure about Vivian; both want to be the group’s leader, but it’s not working.”
Despite her eviction, Nyrraa has other projects lined up and is hopeful about a wild card return to Bigg Boss 18.
