Sara Arfeen Khan’s journey in Bigg Boss 18 was filled with ups and downs, and after her eviction this weekend, she has finally shared her side of the story. In an exclusive interview with SCREEN, the actress-turned-mind coach slammed co-contestants Avinash Mishra and Karanveer Mehra, addressing the challenges she faced inside the house.
Facing Misunderstandings and Accusations
Sara spoke candidly about the label of being violent, clarifying, “I never indulged in physical violence. Yes, I got aggressive, but this is a reality show, and losing your cool is normal. People want drama, and if I added that ‘spicy flavor,’ what’s wrong with that? It was my game plan to protect my boundaries.” Despite not retaliating, Sara mentioned she faced physical violence from Chum Darang and Karanveer Mehra. She added, “I bruised my back because of Karanveer, but I didn’t fight back. Yet, I was called mad and a psychopath, and no one took a stand for me. I felt targeted by the audience.”
Mind Coach Profession Under Attack
Sara expressed her frustration over how her profession was used against her in arguments. “They always targeted us as mind coaches,” she said. “Avinash was the one who set the narrative, and later Karanveer used it against us. But we’re humans too, capable of having emotional meltdowns. I lost my cool but didn’t use foul language. Why was it viewed as crazy when I was just setting my boundaries?” Despite the hate messages she received, Sara remains strong and stands firm on her decisions.
The Karanveer Incident: A Controversial Moment
Sara addressed the incident where Karanveer pinned her to the floor during a task. She was upset and demanded a public apology, even threatening legal action. However, she later decided against pursuing legal action, saying, “I realized it was a game, and I don’t want to ruin anyone’s life over this. This is what mind coaches do—try to understand situations before jumping to conclusions.”
She also criticized Karanveer’s behavior, saying, “Those who claim to respect women are often the most toxic. If Karanveer respected women, why has he been divorced twice?”
Shilpa Shirodkar’s Manipulative Side
Sara didn’t hold back in calling Shilpa Shirodkar manipulative, revealing, “I’ve seen that side of her more than once. She uses Vivian and Karanveer as stepping stones to move forward in the game.”
Future Plans
Now that her Bigg Boss journey has ended, Sara is focusing on her next steps. She plans to explore opportunities in the OTT space, films, and conduct seminars for women, helping them grow and gain confidence.
